Von Trapp Brewery
"Enjoy flavorful, crisp lagers at von Trapp Brewing, located at the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont. Over the course of many visits to Austria, Johannes von Trapp, the youngest son of Maria and the Baron, gained an appreciation for the crisp, clean Austrian lager beers. When the craft beer movement in the United States gained momentum in the early 1990s, there was a noticeable lack of focus on lagers. It’s not surprising, considering that lagers are more challenging to brew, take longer to mature, and are therefore more expensive to create. For two decades Johannes dreamed of building an Austrian-style brewery at the Trapp Family Lodge, and in 2010 that dream came to fruition. A humble brewery with capacity for 2,000 barrels per year quickly attracted attention under the name Trapp Lager, and the brewery received requests from all over the United States. The von Trapp family, who had always been reticent to commercialize their family heritage, realized that they had a product deserving of the family name. The new facility, completed in 2015 under the name von Trapp Brewing, allowed the family to expand beyond their home territory and spread the gospel of craft lagers."
"It all started when two brewers embarked upon a collaboration in a shed in the deep north woods of Vermont. While facing the adversities of brewing craft beer in a harsh climate with home-made equipment, Ten Bends Beer was born. Our ales represent these early efforts as we continue to craft beer that is inspired by the unique nature of Vermont.
Ten Bends operates a three barrel brewery in under 1400 square feet at our Hyde Park, Vermont location. We offer up to five beers on tap at any given time, with specialty releases in bottles also available periodically."
"After years honing our skills in the brewing and process industry, we set forth to create a brewery with a simple mission; to produce honest beer. The result is a 7,000bbl brewery located in Northern Vermont that is capable of brewing any style of ales and lagers. The brewery takes inspiration from lesser-known European beer styles, along with local Vermont life to guide our brews. The attention to detail, modern equipment, and love for beer help produce truly authentic, unique beers. Enjoy!"
"Matt and Renee decided on the name Rock Art based on the wonderful hikes, mountain bike rides and river trips they enjoyed while living in Colorado. They discovered many petroglyph images on the rocks during their adventures. The Kokopelli was their favorite and the more they learn about its rich history, the more they appreciated all that Kokopelli represents."
"Built in 1830 as a blacksmith shop, our home has had quite a history. From cider mill to youth hostel to the famed Shed Restaurant. But one thing has remained a constant.
It has always been the place where the locals have gathered. Regardless of the stories told or the time in history, we always meet, share friendship, and enjoy good food and drink together. We hope to continue this tradition with you and create more memories for the books."
"Stowe Cider is a family-run cidery, specializing in small batch, artisanal ciders. We ferment a blend of 100% Vermont fresh pressed apple juice into a one-of-a-kind hard cider—inspired by those of early America—occasionally accented by a selection of fresh fruits or spices.
Our cidery was born from a shared passion by husband and wife team, Stefan and Mary Windler, with the help of cider maker, Marc Chretien. We opened our doors in August 2013 with our flagship cider, simply called “Traditional Dry.” We now boast an ever-growing cider list that has more than 10 year-round and seasonal varieties. Our ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible, giving us the unique opportunity to showcase the exceptional ingredients Vermont has to offer.
At the end of the day, our goal is to #FreeTheCider of sweeteners, and the restraints of over-processed cider making. Come in for a tasting, attend an event, or pick up a bottle for your next adventure. "

Cold Hollow Cider Mill
"There's a dang fine reason why the Cold Hollow Cider Mill is both a top New England producer of fresh apple cider and one of Vermont's most popular tourist attractions. It's because we do it the real old-fashioned way, making real cider with a traditional rack and cloth press built in the 1920's - and, by gosh, you can come watch. "
"Located on Main Street in the historic district of downtown Waterbury, Vermont, our Restaurant is where you come for BBQ, sit down service, classic cocktails and fresh beer served every night.
Our Brewery entrance is just around the corner. With casual counter service, we offer a rotating back bar menu of tacos and ramen. It's also where we brew the beer."
"The Alchemist is a small, family run brewery specializing in fresh, unfiltered IPA. We are currently focused on brewing one beer perfectly – Heady Topper, an American Double IPA.
For eight years, Heady Topper was served on tap exclusively at our seven barrel brewpub in downtown Waterbury. In early 2011 we built the Alchemist Cannery, a 15 barrel brewery and canning line, for the production of our flagship IPA. The first cans of Heady Topper rolled off the line just two days after Tropical Storm Irene demolished The Alchemist Pub and Brewery. Today we brew 180 barrels per week in twelve 15 barrel batches. We never hold back inventory, and we move all of our beer weekly in a concerted effort to provide the freshest, hoppiest packaged IPA on the market."
"There’s a lot to learn from the past. But we believe the best era for Whiskey is in front of us. We are constantly pushing ourselves to try new things and to unlock the potential of Rye Whiskey. We protect what makes Rye Whiskey great, toss out the rest, and then innovate to make it better.
WhistlePig began when we purchased our farm in 2007. After a few years of deep consideration and personal reflection, we committed ourselves to craft the world’s finest and most interesting Rye Whiskeys. With help from Master Distiller Dave Pickerell, we discovered and purchased an incredible stock of 10 year old blending Whiskey in Canada that was being profoundly misused. That initial stock, for which we are forever grateful, is what kicked off our grand adventure."
"Our craft distillery is located in Caledonia County, Vermont and inspired by the views from atop the Barr Hill Nature Preserve. Caledonia Spirits was founded on a vision to support working landscapes and local agriculture by making Barr Hill craft spirits from regional raw materials.
In 2016, Caledonia Spirits released the first batch of Tom Cat aged 100% in Vermont-grown white oak barrels. This exciting release is the first and only product distilled in Vermont, and aged in Vermont grown barrels since before prohibition."
